Alice Marie is a PA-Certified Music Educator and has collaborated with various organizations and artists in the area to provide different performance workshops and programming that encourages the creative process.

The objective is for participants to explore self-expression through performance and improvisation, in order to experience a positive emotional outcome.  Participants will be able to sing and/or utilize percussive instruments, as well as the “body percussion” of movement/ dance. These workshops can be for children or adults (including senior citizens) and are always inclusive of Special Needs.  Alice Marie also provides small group instruction for vocal performance and string instruments.

Alice is clearly a gifted strings’ teacher- it takes only a few minutes of classroom observation to understand why the students consistently respond to her quiet, unassuming teaching style. Alice’s concern for each student is present in every class she teaches and her gentle ways encourage even the most reticent fifth grader to draw bow across strings. In addition, watching Alice move around the classroom, rather than stand in front silently waving a baton, explains the electricity one senses in the air of any room in which she works.
